Get through Google Play's 12-tester rule

Personal developer accounts created after November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before publishing. Here's how.

1. 1Build your app in AppifyWebsite and download the AAB file.
2. 2In Play Console, create the app and open Testing → Closed testing.
3. 3Create a testers list (email addresses of Google accounts) and upload the AAB.
4. 4Invite at least 12 testers and send them the opt-in link from Play Console.
5. 5Each tester opts in, installs from Google Play and stays opted in for 14 days in a row.
6. 6Collect a little feedback and fix anything obvious — Google asks about it.
7. 7After 14 days, apply for production access from the Play Console dashboard.
